ABOUT CLUB DU MONDE

Club du Monde is Bournemouth 's new world music club, launched on Friday 17 November 2006 with a superb gig by Latin Jazz percussionist ROBIN JONES and his sextet. Established courtesy of a grant from Awards for All, the Club's mission is to bring to this region fantastic live music from around the world. Educational workshops complement the evening gigs, organised by our partner organisation, SoundStorm at Dorset Music Service. The Club is a non-profit making society, established by enthusiasts anxious to fill the gap in Bournemouth 's cultural make-up.

Club du Monde is held at Centre Stage, Bournemouth 's most relaxed, attractive and comfortable music venue, situated next door to the Pig and Whistle, Queens Road Westbourne BH2 6BE . See our page "How to Find us" for more details on where we are and a map. Parking is ample (and free after 6pm!)
